PMO Analyst

About the role
As a PMO Analyst, you’ll help our project and programme teams deliver successfully by keeping plans, data and governance on track. You’ll turn project information into clear reports, coordinate key activities and help stakeholders spot risks and priorities early.
Salary: The budgeted range for this role is R27,000–R33,000 per calendar month, plus benefits.

What you’ll do
· Maintain portfolio governance, controls and assurance, ensuring projects follow agreed lifecycle, stage-gate and approval requirements.
· Own portfolio data quality and produce executive-ready reports, dashboards and presentations with clear insight and recommendations.
· Monitor plans, RAID items, milestones, KPIs, finances, revenue, resources and capacity, escalating concerns and supporting recovery actions.
· Facilitate governance forums, customer meetings and workshops, building trusted relationships and driving actions to completion.
· Develop SOPs, templates, process maps and controlled documentation, improving PMO standards, reporting and ways of working.
· Manage low-complexity projects and PMO improvement initiatives from planning through to formal closure.

· Stakeholders have accurate, timely information to support decisions.
· Reports and governance materials are clear, reliable and delivered on time.
· Risks, issues and actions are visible, owned and followed through.
· Project teams receive organised, responsive support.
· PMO tools and processes become simpler and more effective.
What you’ll bring
· At least five years’ experience working within a PMO is essential.
· A practical understanding of project governance, reporting and delivery controls.
· Strong analytical skills and confidence turning data into clear, useful information.
· Excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
· Clear written and verbal communication, with confidence working across different stakeholder groups.
· Good Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Teams.
· Initiative, sound judgement and discretion when handling sensitive information.
