Position Overview
As a HR Compliance Administrator you'll support the People & Talent Shared Services function in maintaining compliance, governance, accuracy, and process consistency across the employee lifecycle. The HR Compliance Administrator acts as a key point of coordination for compliance-related activities, ensuring accurate record keeping, process adherence, and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and workflows.

The budgeted salary for this role is between £26,000 and £28,000 a year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
Administer and maintain the Right to Work process, ensuring all checks are completed accurately, recorded appropriately, and remain compliant with legislative requirements.
Support compliance activities relating to contingent workforce populations, including monitoring documentation and maintaining accurate records.
Coordinate and support Internal ISO Internal Audits, ISO External Audits, and other People & Talent compliance reviews.
Conduct due diligence audits on Joiner/Mover/Leaver process.
Administer employee background screening processes through approved supplier portals and ensure timely completion of checks.
Monitor compliance with National Minimum Wage requirements and escalate potential risks where identified.
Support the HR team with Data Subject Access Requests, including information gathering, document collation, and record management.
Maintain accurate compliance records, trackers, reports, and audit evidence.
Review and update HR process documentation, standard operating procedures, and workflow maps to ensure they remain current and aligned with business requirements.
Assist in identifying process improvements and opportunities to strengthen compliance controls.
Support the wider HR Shared Services team during periods of operational demand.
Deliver a positive employee and stakeholder experience through professional, timely, and accurate support.
What Success Looks Like
0% Compliance Failures on RTW process in month 2-4
Audits completed within 2 weeks of the new month for previous month from month 2-4
1 Process improvement identified and corrected within probationary period
Ensure all NMW requirements are up to date by month 4
Qualifications & Experience
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
Demonstrate attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
Be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and have excellent organisational and time management skills.
Have effective oral and written communication skills for interacting with employees at all levels
To work well alongside other members of the HR Team to achieve collective goals.
Be able to build positive relationships across the organisation.
The ability to handle employee issues or unexpected situations that may arise.
To have the ability to work proactively and be ready to assistant and learn where required.
Maintain professionalism, discretion, and composure in all situations.
Desired:
Experience in a fast-paced admin driven environment.
Experience in an HR environment.
Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point.
Understanding of employment legislation, Right to Work requirements, and data protection principles.
Experience administering employee background screening processes through external suppliers and portals.
