Position Overview
We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our Finance function in London. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work within an established and scaling private-equity backed tech business, assisting and advising on a range or corporate and indirect tax matters.
Salary & Benefits
The budgeted salary for this role is between £70,000 and £80,000 a year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
In this role, you can expect to:
Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, including tax calculations, returns and disclosures
Manage relationships with external tax advisers and authorities, group tax teams and liaising with HMRC when necessary
Support tax risk management and tax planning activities and keep up to date with local tax legislation
Dealing with compliance across multiple tax areas, including VAT, PAYE, CT, WHT, Transfer Pricing
Ensure compliance with all statutory filing obligations.
Lead the tax relevant work around acquisitions, restructurings and other corporate transactions.
Develop internal controls around different areas of tax to foster a high performance culture.
What Success Looks Like
Ensure that Advania UK remains tax compliant
Ensuring that tax calculations, returns and disclosures are made accurately and within deadlines
Working collaboratively and constructively with the stakeholders in the business across tax risk management and tax planning
Qualifications & Experience
Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA).
Significant corporate tax and indirect tax experience within a practice or industry setting.
Ability to interpret complex technical matters and communicate clearly.
Ideally experience of working withing a large multi-entity or group environment.
