We have an opportunity for you to showcase your technical support skills in this crucial out of hours role as a 2nd Line Support Engineer.
Working as part of a vibrant and collaborative team, this is a great opportunity to build your career as part of a global business. You will have the chance to work with a wide range of clients and build upon your existing technical abilities through practical work experience and qualifications.
The salary range for this role is between R23000 - R28000 plus a night shift allowance of 30%.
Shift Patterns
We work to rotational shift patterns from Monday - Sunday (UK times):
Shift Pattern: 11pm to 8am (UK) or 12am to 9am (UK)
Requirements
You'll have previously provided support at 2nd line level or above previously. Some of the systems and technologies we work with include:
Server Infrastructure
HP & Dell, Microsoft Server OS through to 2019, Linux, Hyper-V, VMWare, and AD-related aspects of Intune, server rebuilds
Azure
Azure AD, ASR, IAAS, PAAS, Subscriptions & Management Groups, Role Based Access Control (RBAC), NSG, Key Vault, Automation, Storage, App Service, Azure SQL
Backup technologies
VEAAM, Azure Backup, Backup Exec, MABS
Active Directory
DHCP, DNS, Replication, AD sync, GPO, Clustering, DFS
3rd party Line of Business application troubleshooting E.G Sage
In addition to the above, you'll be comfortable supporting clients, working to agreed timeframes and providing solutions.
