We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in Cape Town. This role will support the organisation at a Group Finance level, working with colleagues based internationally.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join Group Finance, which acts as the Finance function for the entire Advania Group. This position operates in a fast-paced, dynamic and demanding team environment where expectations are high. It is a role that would suit a high-potential professional who is looking to join an organisation where their career can accelerate.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Group Head of FP&A, supporting revenue and sales performance across a large multi-entity organisation that employs over 4,000 people internationally and generates annual revenues in excess of 1 billion GBP.
In this visible role, you can expect to work with senior stakeholders as part of supporting revenue and sales performance across an international group. You will also be responsible for gathering, validating, and interpreting commercial data; identifying key drivers of performance; and translating insights into actionable recommendations that inform decision-making at Group level.
The candidate is expected to already hold a technical or analytical qualification (NQF level 7, or equivalent) and should be comfortable with operating in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and evolving information needs. Experience or interest in reporting and data-visualisation tools such as Power BI is also expected, alongside at least 2 years of professional experience within a relevant role.

Salary & Benefits
The budgeted salary for this role is between 25,000 and 35,000 ZAR monthly, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
Collect, validate, and analyse sales and revenue data across business units to identify trends, risks, and performance drivers.
Develop and maintain dashboards and recurring reports used in Group Finance and senior stakeholder forums.
Support forecasting processes, pipeline analysis, and periodic performance reviews in collaboration with finance and commercial stakeholders at multiple organisational levels.
Translate complex data into clear, structured insights and recommendations to support decision-making and performance management.
Respond to ad hoc requests and evolving reporting needs in a fast-paced, stakeholder-driven environment.
Qualifications & Experience
An NQF level 7 diploma or qualification in a technical or analytical discipline - essential
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience within a corporate, consulting, IT or professional services environment - essential
Experience of working as a Business Analyst, or within a similar capacity
The candidate will also have:
Knowledge of business analysis concepts and reporting/data-visualisation practices
Demonstrated interest or experience in revenue and sales analytics (e.g., KPI tracking, performance reporting, pipeline analysis)
Familiarity with Power BI or similar platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Excel-based reporting) and willingness to deepen expertise
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data quality
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to stakeholders with varying levels of technical understanding
Ability to operate independently and prioritise effectively in an environment with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines
