Financial Analyst
Position Overview
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Group Finance team, with a focus on analysing financial results and cash flow. This role interprets group-level performance, prepares insightful reporting for senior stakeholders, and supports strategic decision making by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities across the business.
Salary & Benefits
The budgeted salary for this role is between 25,000 and 35,000 ZAR monthly, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
Analyse group financial results, revenue trends, and cash flow performance; explain key drivers of movements and variances.
Prepare monthly/quarterly management reporting packs, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses to support decision-making (e.g., Power BI and Excel-based reporting).
Monitor performance against budgets/forecasts and highlight risks, opportunities, and emerging trends.
Provide cash flow insights, including working capital analysis, cash forecasting inputs, and scenario/sensitivity analysis.
Partner with finance and business teams to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
Support strategic and operational initiatives through financial modelling, business cases, and investment appraisals as required.
Ensure reporting is accurate, consistent, and aligned to group definitions; contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes and automation.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience or demonstrated interest in performance analysis, cash flow analysis, and management reporting (group-level exposure is an advantage).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and an ability to work with large data sets.
Proficiency in financial modelling and reporting tools, particularly advanced Excel; Power BI (or similar) is preferred.
