Data Analyst
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Data Analyst with a strong interest in data visualization and reporting. This role supports business decision-making by collecting, cleaning, and analysing datasets, and by translating insights into clear, stakeholder-friendly dashboards and reports—primarily using Power BI.
Salary & Benefits
The budgeted salary for this role is between 25,000 and 35,000 ZAR monthly, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
Assist in data collection, cleaning, validation, and documentation to ensure data integrity and usability.
Build, maintain, and iterate Power BI dashboards and reports that surface key business metrics and trends.
Support senior analysts with ad-hoc analysis, including extracting data, preparing summaries, and checking results.
Translate findings into clear visual formats and concise written commentary for stakeholders.
Help automate recurring reporting where possible (e.g., standardized datasets, reusable report templates).
Collaborate with Finance and business teams to understand reporting requirements and continuously improve outputs.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar.
Basic knowledge of data analysis concepts (e.g., data cleaning, aggregation, trend analysis) and data visualization principles.
Competence or growing expertise in Power BI (DAX and Power Query familiarity is advantageous).
Comfortable working with Excel and structured datsets.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn in a data driven environment.
Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain insights to non-technical stakeholders.
