Responsibilities
Define the AI Solution Development Strategy & Governance Framework, aligning AI adoption to business outcomes, risk appetite, and regulatory expectations.
Establish a target state that is secure, compliant, and scalable across Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Azure AI Foundry, with a platform‑agnostic extension path for non‑Microsoft AI.
Embed proportional, risk‑based controls for initial Copilot Studio enablement, with future‑proofing for broader AI adoption.
Integrate governance across DLP, access control, licensing, environment strategy, security baselines, application lifecycle management (ALM), and monitoring.
Align the framework and SDLC with ISO/IEC 27001 and support the organisation’s journey towards ISO/IEC 42001 (AI management systems), including evidence models for auditability.
Integrate with existing Microsoft 365 security and compliance settings (e.g., Entra ID, Conditional Access, sensitivity labels, data classifications).
Integrate with existing Microsoft 365 security and compliance settings (e.g., Entra ID, Conditional Access, sensitivity labels, data classifications).
Establish an SDLC tailored to AI solutions, covering design reviews, threat modelling, privacy impact assessment inputs, testing (unit, functional, performance), and release management.
Implement monitoring, telemetry and logging (e.g., Power Platform Admin analytics, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights) with auditable controls and operational runbooks.
Define incident response pathways, responsible AI checkpoints, model evaluation criteria, and data retention/archival patterns for sensitive data.
Design patterns, templates, and re‑usable components for citizen developers and professional developers, including guardrails, role‑based responsibilities, and “golden paths”.
Provide clear documentation, visual frameworks, and training guides; collaborate with platform owners, security, risk, data, and business product teams.
Contribute to a pragmatic roadmap that sequences enablement across the 100+ identified use cases.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience architecting enterprise solutions on Microsoft Cloud across Power Platform (especially Copilot Studio) and Azure AI Foundry (or Azure AI Studio), with understanding of Azure OpenAI and modern LLM‑based patterns.
Strong background in governance, risk, and security for Microsoft 365, Entra ID, DLP, Information Protection, and compliant data access for regulated workloads.
Hands‑on ALM & SDLC experience: environment strategy, managed/unmanaged solutions and flows, configuration management, source control, and CI/CD with Azure DevOps or GitHub Enterprise.
Experience designing monitoring and audit for production systems, including test strategy, change control, release gates, and quality assurance for both pro‑code and low‑code assets.
Ability to translate business outcomes into technology patterns for citizen and pro‑dev communities; excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills.
Awareness of ISO/IEC 27001 and the practical steps to support ISO/IEC 42001 readiness (responsible AI controls, process evidence, risk registers, and audit trails).
Desirable
Experience in financial services or other regulated environments.
Knowledge of data privacy and model governance practices (e.g., DPIAs, model evaluation, prompt safety, data minimisation).
Certifications such as PL‑600 (Power Platform Solution Architect), AI‑102 (Azure AI Engineer Associate), AZ‑305 (Azure Solutions Architect Expert), SC‑100/SC‑300, or ISO/IEC 27001/42001 practitioner/lead implementer credentials.
