Junior Cyber Resilience Solutions Specialist
We have an internal opening for a Junior Cyber Resilience Solutions Specialist in our Cyber Resilience Solution Sales department. This role can be based out of any UK office.
Position Overview
This is an entry-level commercial position designed to develop a solid foundation in cybersecurity solution selling, vendor engagement, and opportunity management. Working closely with the Cyber Solutions team, this role supports the full sales cycle—from vendor renewals and lead qualification to proposal creation and event follow‑up.
You will be responsible for managing smaller-scale opportunities, nurturing early-stage leads, and ensuring our cyber vendor ecosystem is fully utilised. This includes handling sub‑80 seat opportunities, conducting discovery calls with account managers, and identifying larger opportunities suitable for escalation to the senior Solutions team.
Responsibilities
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Sales & Opportunity Management
Manage all sub‑80 seat cyber-related tickets in the CRM and conduct structured discovery calls alongside sales account managers.
Identify and qualify larger opportunities for escalation to the Cyber Solutions team.
Conduct renewal checks across cyber vendors to ensure all contracts are aligned, up to date, and positioned for upsell/cross-sell conversations.
Engage clients via calls and emails to discuss renewal options, additional services, and potential solution expansion.
Support the team by processing orders when required.
Vendor & Partner Engagement
Learn and manage deal registration processes across all cyber vendors to maximise margin, promotional benefits, and lead flow.
Ensure the business capitalises on all available vendor promotions, incentives, and training.
Complete and maintain all required cyber partner accreditations, ensuring the organisation retains its partner status and benefits.
Tender & Bid Support
Review incoming tenders to determine whether they fall within the organisation’s cyber capability.
Provide bid/no-bid recommendations based on scope, alignment, and resource availability.
Support the Solutions team with proposal creation during busy periods.
Marketing & Events
Assist in planning and executing cyber-focused events, including:
Invitation management.
Lead follow-up.
Post-event qualification.
Work with marketing and sales to ensure event leads are nurtured and converted.
Team Collaboration & Development
Shadow senior members of the Cyber Solutions team to build product knowledge, sales capability, and technical understanding.
Participate in internal training to develop a strong understanding of cyber resilience solutions, frameworks, and market trends.
Qualifications & Experience
An interest or knowledge in cyber security products and solutions
Willingness and ability to develop a career in sales
A basic understanding of sales processes (lead qualification, customer engagement)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Commercial awareness (understanding metrics such as Gross Profit)
