Position Overview
We are looking for a versatile and experienced ServiceNow Consultant.
You will be responsible for designing and maintaining high‑quality catalog items, building intuitive portal interfaces, and ensuring our hardware asset processes run efficiently and accurately across the ServiceNow platform.
Salary & Benefits
The budgeted salary for this role is between £70,000 and £90,000 a year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Design, develop, configure, and customise ServiceNow applications and services
Deliver new functionality across applications
Support the entire development lifecycle
Assist the platform administrator team with incident resolution and request delivery where needed
Participation in requirements gathering and design
Developing, installing, and troubleshooting ServiceNow applications
Learning about the latest developments on the ServiceNow platform
Generate documentation for, and support handover to administration teams for new products, services and features
Responsibility for ensuring that the software behaves as designed by testing during all stages of the development process
Troubleshoot bugs, fix defects, and support users of applications developed by the ServiceNow development team
Assist in maintaining detailed documentation of application design and code generation techniques used to train other developers on ServiceNow system software
Providing input for technical documentation (user manuals)
Preparing reports on analyses
Generation of work estimates for new work in chargeable projects
Qualifications & Experience
The right candidate for this role will have:
Expertise in ServiceNow Service Catalog and Portal development, specialising in building, maintaining, and optimising catalog items, workflows, and user-facing portal components
Strong proficiency in UI/UX design within Service Portal and UI Builder, delivering intuitive end-user experiences
Skills in Hardware Asset Management (HAM), including lifecycle configuration, stockroom management, asset modelling, and request automation
Experience in Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, CMDB/CSDM alignment, and automation of fulfilment processes
Excellent stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and governance capabilities with a focus on scalable, maintainable, OOTB‑aligned ServiceNow solutions
