Position Overview
As a Dedicated Technical Account Manager, you will lead the technical relationship for a key Advania client, providing proactive, full-time support as an integral part of our Client Technical Success team. Your role involves regular onsite presence and overlapping UK time zone coverage to collaborate effectively with our global account team.
You’ll guide clients through their digital transformation journey, driving the adoption of cloud technologies and maximizing their investment across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Modern Workplace, Business Applications, Data & AI, and Cyber Security solutions.
We are looking for a candidate with strong commercial leadership who can confidently propose solutions to senior executives, ensuring successful client outcomes and influencing the technical roadmap while fostering innovation within Advania’s service offerings.

Salary
The budgeted salary for this role is between 105,000 AUD and 155,000 AUD plus superannuation

Responsibilities
As a Dedicated Technical Account Manager, you will support client physical locations and IT infrastructure, requiring proficiency in end-user compute technologies and networking design. The role is fast-paced and demands effective knowledge acquisition from internal and external sources to navigate a wide range of technologies.
· Strategic Client Engagement: Lead high-impact engagements with dedicated clients, creating and maintaining their technical roadmaps while maximizing our value as a trusted advisor.
· Primary Technical Contact: Serve as the main technology liaison for clients, addressing inquiries and coordinating resources for complex support issues, ensuring timely resolutions.
· Project Scoping and Delivery: Develop comprehensive scoping documents for project work, collaborating with commercial account managers to align client expectations with proposed solutions, and presenting these to both clients and internal teams.
· Customer Retention and Growth: Work closely with the technical success team to demonstrate the value of TAM services, aiming for contract renewals and actively participating in identifying opportunities for service enhancements.
· Individual Responsibilities:
· Act as the client's technical advocate within Advania, building strong relationships with stakeholders.
· Attend client sites to gain deep insights into their technical landscapes and business strategies.
· Oversee onsite technical resources to ensure alignment with client needs.
· Drive digital transformation initiatives by leveraging Microsoft cloud technologies (Microsoft 365/Azure) and promoting best practices.
· Collaborate with the UK TAM to develop and maintain strategic roadmaps, ensuring successful project delivery through close engagement with Professional and Managed Services teams.
· Lead as a change agent internally and externally, encouraging innovation in service offerings while maximizing efficiencies across the account team.
· Continuously enhance your knowledge of Microsoft technologies and relevant industry trends.
Qualifications & Experience
· Proven Experience: Manage strategic client accounts throughout the lifecycle, serving as the primary technical contact and aligning solutions with business objectives to drive success.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate teamwork among engineering, product, support, and sales to efficiently deliver complex implementations, migrations, and adoption initiatives.
· Technical Leadership: Lead technical engagements and escalations, including assessments and issue resolution, while providing insights for account planning and growth.
· Cloud FinOps Expertise: Optimize resource consumption and improve cost transparency to achieve ongoing operational savings.
· Service Improvement: Drive technical change that enhances service delivery.
· Client Advocacy: Balance client needs with organizational priorities, serving as a trusted technical advisor with deep IT systems knowledge.
· Microsoft Cloud Proficiency: Strong understanding of Microsoft Cloud Technologies (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365).
· Deadline-Oriented: Comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines.
· Desired Experience: Previous work with Financial Services clients and in digital transformation roles is a plus.
· Change Management Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL/Prosci qualifications preferred.
· Passion for Cloud Technology: Stay updated on industry trends to ensure Advania remains innovative and competitive.
