Job Purpose
We’re looking for a highly skilled Dynamics GP Support Consultant to join our Cape Town-based team, supporting a diverse portfolio of UK-based clients. As part of a dynamic MSP environment, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering expert support, driving system improvements, and building lasting client relationships. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-starter who thrives on autonomy, values precision, and enjoys working across multiple industries and business models.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide advanced support for Microsoft Dynamics GP across multiple client environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across core GP modules (Financials, Inventory, Purchasing, Sales,etc.)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues between integrations and GP
- Assist clients with issues relating to financial reports using Management Reporter (and other software)
- Demonstrate the ability to write SQL queries for remediation of issues
- Document solutions, processes, and best practices for internal and client use
Essential Experience
- 5+ years experience working within a Service Desk in a Managed Service environment.
- Proven experience supporting Dynamics GP
- Strong understanding of GP modules and their interdependencies
- Proven experience with system integrations and data flows
- Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel functions
- Expertise in Management Reporter
- Good working knowledge of Excel
Advantageous Experience
- Experience with 3rd party GP modules (e.g., Advance Bank Reconciliation, eRequest, Collections Management.)
- VBA coding for automation and customization
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows
- D365 Business Central Knowledge
