Position Overview:
Working with clients and internal teams within Advania UK the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the assurance of Project & Programme deliveries into our most complex client spaces to scope, time, budget and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Managed more complex Projects & Programmes across multiple service offerings
- Ensure Projects are delivered according to scope, time, budget and quality.
- Positive working relationships with internal and external Senior Stakeholders
- Risks and escalations flagged at the appropriate time
- Correct project documentation procedures adhered to
- Ability to act as a mentor to less experienced Project Manager’s within the team
- Ability to drive forward internal initiatives to further mature the PM&G capabilities
- As the company and portfolios expand be able to take on responsibility for a sub-section of a portfolio
Qualifications & Experience:
The right candidate for the role will have:
- Extensive years experience working in highly complex Project & Programme delivery environments delivering outcomes not just technology
- Used to working with and communicating to Senior Stakeholders and Client Project Delivery Teams.
- Successful track record in complex delivery and managing multiple Senior Stakeholders
- Able to lead an Account working with the Commercial and Solution Teams
- Liaise with the Commercial Sales Team to define the appropriate resources, timeframes and requirements needed to produce viable proposals on deals.
- Experience of working in an environment that requires the ability to deliver to multiple clients simultaneously and work with project teams which encompass a number of employees
- Experience of tracking the full remit of Project KPI’s (budget and resource forecasting, resource planning, Risk and Issue mapping and planning, delivery planning)
- Experience of presenting to client project boards; can breakdown and explain complex deliveries or requirements for clients and differing staff levels to understand
- Is experienced and/or qualified in 1 or more Project Management Methodologies which includes waterfall or agile delivery techniques.
- Is flexible to travelling (UK) and attending client/Advania UK sites as needed to fulfil their duties
- Candidate must be eligible for SC Clearance
