Job Overview:
As a Mid-Market Account Manager, you will be a key member of our team, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of mid-market clients. You will focus on client retention, upselling solutions from our portfolio, and achieving sales targets. In addition, you will contribute to improving our processes to increase operational efficiency.
This role is perfect for someone with a passion for technology, a drive to grow clients, and strong experience in the IT or technology sector. You will take on a pivotal role in driving business outcomes and managing a dynamic portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Target Ownership: Manage and achieve sales targets, ensuring growth, retention, and profitability within your client portfolio.
- Client Development: Identify and pursue upsell opportunities across the Advania product and solutions portfolio.
- Proposal Management: Lead the timely delivery of high-quality client proposals, responding to RFPs for both renewals and new business.
- CRM Management: Maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline, including whitespace analysis and a comprehensive contact plan.
- Client Governance: Conduct regular face-to-face and virtual meetings with your client base to drive sales activity and meet governance requirements.
- Campaign Management: Develop micro-campaigns to boost the adoption of key products and services.
- Commercial Stakeholder: Act as a key stakeholder in commercial decision-making processes, including sign-off on deals.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and refinement of the Mid-Market Account Management processes and policies.
- Industry Awareness: Stay current on industry advancements and trends, particularly in the fast-evolving technology space.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in the IT or technology sectors, with a working knowledge of services such as:
- Managed/ Outsourced IT Services
- All Microsoft Cloud services
- Cybersecurity
- ERP Systems
- AI
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage clients via phone, video, and email.
- Ability to build relationships with both operational and business decision-makers.
- Solid understanding of business requirements and the ability to translate these into IT solutions.
- Commercial acumen with experience in negotiation, developing business cases, and demonstrating ROI.
- Natural problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a dispersed team.
- Ability to manage change and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, growing organization.
