Position Overview:
The Microsoft Endpoint Management Technical Lead is responsible for overseeing the deployment, management, and optimization of endpoint management solutions. This role involves ensuring the security and compliance of endpoints and implementing best practices for endpoint management.
Responsibilities:
Endpoint Management:
- Manage identity, security, access, policies, updates, and applications for endpoints.
- Implement solutions for efficient deployment and management of endpoints across various operating systems and platforms.
- Develop, deploy, and manage mobile applications and mobile application management policies.
Security and Compliance:
- Ensure endpoints comply with organizational security policies and standards.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Implement and manage security baselines, device compliance, and conditional access policies.
Technical Expertise:
- Analyze user needs and identify appropriate endpoint management solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to endpoint management.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in endpoint management.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of endpoint management solutions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates on endpoint management activities.
- Document processes, procedures, and best practices for endpoint management
- Some understanding of Identity Management Solutions aligned to Azure AD, Azure AD Connect and ADFS
- Excellent demonstrated customer service skills
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Experience with a ticket management toolset.
- Experience with Remote Desktop tools
- Microsoft Certification Office 365 is beneficial
Qualifications & Experience required:
- 5+ years’ experience supporting Intune.
- Technical experience working within a Managed Service environment.
- 5+ years’ experience supporting MECM (formerly System Centre Configuration Manager).
- Experience in deploying Intune into new environments.
- Experience in Co-Management of Intune and MECM.
- Experience in Microsoft Graph and Azure AD would be beneficial.
