Position Overview:
We are looking for several Technical Leads to join our team in Cape Town. This is a senior technical position where you will act as an escalation point for the virtual team. You will work closely with Operations Managers, team members and clients to manage technical escalations that require the highest level of support.
This is a great opportunity to showcase your technical skills and experience through working across a number of different clients.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you can expect to:
- Assist with advance troubleshooting and problem solving
- Collaborating with other teams to implement solutions or to investigate root causes of any incidents
- Monitor performance metrics
- Work closely with clients or end users to work through technical issues while making information easy to understand for non-technical audiences
- Mentor and coach junior engineers in the function
Qualifications & Experience:
For this role, you will need to have provided technical support at 3rd line level or higher in a previous role.
You will also have experience of working closely with:
- Azure
- Azure Active Directory
- Server Infrastructure
- HP & Dell, Microsoft Server OS through to 2019
- VMWare
- Back-up technologies - VEAAM, Azure Backup, Backup Exec, MABS
- DHCP, DNS, Replication, AD sync, GPO, Clustering, DFS
- 3rd party Line of Business application troubleshooting E.G Coins, Agresso,
It is also expected that you have at least one of the following qualifications:
- AZ-104
- MCSE 2016
- AZ-300
- AZ-301
- AZ-400
